Come join World Class Fishing aboard the Alaska Pirates Pride Tugboat. We offer over night fishing and cruising adventures for up to 8-10 persons at a time along Alaskan coastal waters and SE Alaska which is also known as the Alexander Archipelago or Inside Passage.
SE Alaska/Alexander Archipelago's landscape is comprised of islands and the mainland coast. This is part of the fabled 'Inside Passage' up the west coast, so called because the inland waterways are fairly well protected from the open Pacific. The islands tend to be thickly forested, with mountains rising to alpine vegetation or glaciers on the mainland and some of the northern islands.
Great fishing is very accessible in both saltwater and freshwater locations. Alaska Pirates Pride follows the fish as they migrate to their spawning grounds throughout this highly productive oceanic near-shore environment and river systems. The diversity of fish is great with five species of Salmon( King, silver, sockeye, pink, chum) and Pacific Halibut.
Alaska Pirates Pride offers saltwater fishing from boats or from shoreline on miles of Alaskan coastline.
Alaska Pirates Pride transports our fly fishing customers to remote areas via skiff where you will have access to some of the world's most pristine locations. Rainbow, cutthroat, brook and steelhead trout are available in some of the freshwater stream systems and in some places we visit SE Alaska offers Grayling, Kokanee and Dolly Varden.
Small communities dot the archipelago from Ketchikan at the south to Yakutat near the end of the panhandle. Other fishing destinations are Prince of Wales Island, Wrangell, Petersburg, Sitka, Alaska's capitol Juneau, and Haines/Skagway . Alaska Pirates Pride will fish all areas of the archipelago as the season progresses and the fish migrate to their spawning grounds. We anchor in the hot spots of the north and central coast regions. This is a saltwater and stream fishing paradise featuring abundant wildlife and variety. We chase the fish and cruise through some of the most exotic and pristine scenery in the world and enjoy the best salmon and halibut fishing. There is plenty of time for going ashore, join us for a beach BBQ, river explorations, shrimping, clamming and crabbing or explore on your own with nature hikes, beachcombing and whale watching. Only 8-10 guests per week on this one of a kind adventure. Alaska Pirates Pride also provides cruises for those customers who want to fish the coastal waters all the way from Juneau to Prince Williams Sound.
